Located between the islands of Sumbawa and Flores in the East Nusa Tenggara province, nested the wonderful Komodo National Park. The Komodo National Park encompasses a total of 29 volcanic islands (including the 3 major islands Rinca, Padar and Komodo) and is home to approximately 2,500 Komodo Dragons and other terrestrial fauna such as various species of reptiles, birds, and mammals. Moreover it has impressive landscape – pink beaches, coral reefs and such beautiful mountains and cliffs. All of that we will explore in sea cruise dedicated specifically for photographers. You will stay on the boat, will be served amazing seafood and enjoying every day landings.
Day 1, 6 May
Arrival at 1 p.m. to Labuan Bajo airport. Our drivers will meet you and transfer to the harbour where we can boar our cruise Phinisi boat. We sail to Kelor island to photograph and snorkel and heading to Kalong Island at sunset to see thousands of fruit bats flying off the mangrove forest. We will enjoy Dinner and Overnight stay on the boat trip around Rinca Island to reach Padar island harbour.
Day 2
Today we start the early morning with departure to Padar Island. We walk to meet sunrise at Padar Island’s hilltop. Here we witness the most spectacular landscape around Komodo National park. Rugged mountains and bays all over the island!
After short hike, we go back to boat for breakfast and later on disembark to a wonderful Pink Beach to snorkel and relax. Later we continue our adventure to Komodo Island for an afternoon walk to find Komodo dragon! Enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner and stay overnight on Phinisi boat around Komodo Island.
Day 3, 8 May
Sunrise we photograph at Kanawa island (optional landing or drone photography). Sailing back to Labuan Bajo harbour on Flores island, and dropping off at the airport. You can arrange your direct flight to Bali or Jakarta.

Gear:
– camera with tripod and remote shutter release
– A wide angle lens. For example, Nikkor 14-24 or Canon 17-40. Best lens for use in wide-angle scenes or architecture photography
– A middle-zoom lens such as a 24-70 mm
– A telephoto zoom lens, such as a 70-200 mm. Be sure to have additional tripod mount to this lens.
– Set of filters for seascape photography: ND 3, 6, 10 stop and CPL filters
